natural dyer.

This ancient art form transforms natural materials (such as; plants, flowers, vegetables, fruits, roots, and, leaves) into colors, prints, & dyes.

Eco-printing sets the print of the leaf or flower on fabric leaving a lasting impression that preserves the image of the plant through a natural Plant Alchemy. The fabric is steamed, bound, and then naturally processed through a chemical reaction of plants and mordants such as copper, aluminum, and iron pipes.

i stumbled across this extraordinary wild-crafting technique while studying for certification in plant medicine & herbal formulations.

India Flint is the visual artist who re-discovered botanical alchemy and is known as “the originator of the eucalyptus eco-print”.

one-of-a-Kind natural dye, eco-print + shibori tie-dye designs are available upon request.

Let’s put our minds together on a project.
